E. Kyle Tyner formed Tyner & Associates, Inc. after a stellar career as an executive coach and organizational effectiveness professional for almost 20 years. Kyle is a senior-level coach, organizational development, and leadership strategy expert. A former General Electric Company human resources executive, Kyle gained extensive knowledge and understanding of strategic business and leadership challenges and solutions during her tenure in four of GE’s businesses, including a headquarters location.

A graduate of GE’s revered Management Development Course and an Executive Band professional, Kyle coached and developed executives at the most senior level at GE as well as in multi-national Fortune 100 companies. Besides General Electric, Kyle has successfully designed and driven results for multi-national companies such as Merck, Microsoft, Lockheed Martin, Shell Oil, Pfizer, Thermo Fisher Scientific and others.

Kyle is an active and effective listener who genuinely cares about people and their organizations. Her warmth and insight enable her to quickly develop relationships and partner with clients to integrate and unify their strategic imperatives and core values into their organization’s leadership, initiatives, structures, processes, and culture.

As an adjunct faculty member at a local college, Kyle has honed her teaching, facilitation, and coaching abilities and creates an effective, engaging and fun learning environment. She developed and delivers leadership training based on Patrick Lencioni’s The Five Dysfunctions of a Team, and created leadership and team assimilation processes and solutions akin to GE’s venerated and proven models.

Kyle is a cum laude graduate of Elon University and completed her Master’s in Christian Counseling, cum laude, from Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary and is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and a National Board Certified Counselor (NCC). She is the author of Corporate Coach U’s teamwork training curriculum; a Certified Change Acceleration Process (CAP) Coach; the creator of the Retention Risk Analysis Tool© and a frequent speaker, facilitator and presenter at professional associations. Kyle provides pro-bono consulting for several church and community-based organizations.

Mike Tucker joined Tyner & Associates to consult with small business owners and entrepreneurs who want to apply our solutions and approaches to their unique business environment. Mike is an entrepreneur, a small business consultant and small business owner. As Director of the Small Business Center at Mitchell Community College for over fifteen years, he counseled with hundreds of entrepreneurs, helping them succeed in starting and growing their businesses.

Mike holds Bachelor and Master degrees from East Tennessee State University and has successfully fulfilled all levels of the Small Business Center Network Credentialing Program. Mike has completed numerous advanced classes in Economic Development at the Economic Development Institute at UNC-Chapel Hill, and the Energizing Entrepreneurship Program offered by the NC Rural Center. He is a certified instructor for both the Fast Trac New Venture Entrepreneurship Program of the Kauffman Foundation and the Rural Entrepreneurship through Action Learning (REAL) Entrepreneurship Program.

Mike holds a North Carolina Real Estate Brokerage license and has been an active and successful investor in real estate. He is the former owner of a property management company and has over fifteen years experience in property management.
